Entertainment is literally at our fingertips today, we no longer have to go to a store to rent movies and DVDs, we no longer have to download music on limewire, we no longer have to have a taxis’ number saved. Everyday new products and services come out to make our lives more and more convenient. As a result, many companies are adapting to this new age of technology, and are accepting of the expectation that consumers want products and services that make their lives easier, no matter the category or market that they serve
1. For generations music has been bringing people together. In the past, artists traveled around the world in order to grow their brand and share their music on both a national and international level. Over the years, musicians and artists have been able to share their talents by leveraging the technology and avenues of their time; whether it was the radio, television, cassette tapes, CDs and more. Today’s access to music is far more complex, but yet far more convenient for consumers. Artists are also benefiting from this shift, and they can stream much more content directly to fans through apps, youtube, etc. Music is one of the most popular categories where you can access free trials.
2. The next most popular entertainment category where you can try a variety of apps and services for a free trial, is movies and TV shows. For many, this type of entertainment is a way to escape mentally, laugh, pass time with loved ones and in some cases get inspired. In today’s age Netflix, Hulu, Youtube and more make it so convenient to watch your favorite shows and movies, and in a way, these subscription based services have grown to be competitors to traditional cable. One could argue that many of the cable legends like ABC and CBS are battling back by offering subscriptions themselves in order to keep up. With these new apps and services, and the old creating subscription contents of their own, this category has a lot of free trials to try.
3. You may be surprised that this is next on the list, but this category and market has grown so much as a result of new technology, and is in high demand. If you guessed education, you are correct! The education industry is on the rise, and there are many new tools and services that can allow anyone to learn anything at any time. The only caveat is that these services and apps won’t necessarily credit you in the same way you get accredited at a university, however the skills that can be learned can lead to promotions, better understanding of specific subjects and skill sets etc. I’m really excited to share more with you all some of the free trials you can get in this category. 4. Though this could have been coupled with TV and movies, sports entertainment is in a category of its own. Traditionally, in addition to hosting events at their own stadium and selling merchandise, they made additional revenue through radio and television. But with the boom of the past ten years, sports teams and companies are able to connect with us more directly. I am really excited to write more about this category; many of the companies involved still offer free trials, and would love for more people to test and try out the products.
5. The video gaming market is probably one that has evolved the most out of all of these categories. The complexity of systems, graphic resolutions, worldwide connections etc. The surviving companies have to truly compete in order to rival their competitors, and they have to continue to push innovation in their products and how they connect with consumers.
